Another 4am session at the peak of Mauna Kea. My family thinks I'm nuts for going up here all the time when we are in Hawaii. I was beginning to think the same thing while the clouds had completely socked in the summit. I waited for a few hours and luckily they burned off for about 10 minutes - allowing me to compose this frame. I really like the contrast of the frost covered lava with the warm glow of sunrise.
