At the end of the road into Quissett Harbor is a trail that takes you out to a point called 'The Knob'. This point was ravaged by a hurricane a few years ago and has engineered erosion control surrounding these once free standing boulders.
This is a favorite location of mine during visits to the Cape. It is a very peaceful and quiet place - if you catch the tide just right you can walk on the beach all the way to the point.
